Second birthday at Gloucester Quays Antiques Centre

It has been two years since we started trading at Gloucester Quays Antiques Centre and alomost two months since we moved across the top floor to our new and larger space.

We are very happy to be a part of the thriving historic docks area and love the way that the docks complex continues to develop. The potential that we saw back in 2013 was the prime reason that we chose Gloucester over the other possible locations and we’re sure that we made the right decision.

We try and keep a wide range of items in stock at GQAC to suit a range of interests and pockets. There is always a good stock of books and things to hang on the wall. In amongst the current stock you will find some airline crockery, a selection of car badges, some collectables from ocean and cruise liners and some great advertising material from the fifties through to more recent days. Prices range from less than a fiver up to three figures. We add new stock every two or three weeks.

Our specialities are probably of more interest to blokes and if you are looking for mantiques there are other traders in the antiques centre; we have a railwayana specialist, another automobila display, a vintage toy space and an autographed sports memorabilia dealer to name a few. There are around 100 dealers trading across the three floors so there is something for everyone.

You also have the outlet centre, the waterways museum, a military museum and plenty of places to eat. With ample parking and the city centre a five minute walk away (the railway station is about fiftenn minutes walk) it makes a great place to spend a day out with the family. Why not make it a weekend? There is a good range of hotels to choose from and if you want to push the boat out come for a week and explore the Cotswolds, the Wye Valley and border country too, for they are all a short drive from Gloucester.
