Success ballast in F1!

The suggestion that F1 might adopt success ballast is horrifying. Sure it works to enliven some series, in particular tin top racing, but surely not in F1. Continue reading

Stewart Haas to move to Ford in 2017

News that SHR are moving over to the Blue Oval comes as a bit of a shock, but with Smoke retired by then I suppose the one true objector will be out of the way. Continue reading

Is the #NASCAR Charter good news?

our new space at Gloucester Quays Antiques Centre @glosantiques

We have moved into our new space (unit 2.6)  and are now on the opposite side of the top floor overlooking the docks and Waterways Museum.

Chris Bayley Automobilia, who we used to share a space with, now have a cabinet more or less opposite our new space and into our old space has moved a seller specialising in sporting memorablila so there are plenty of Mantiques amongst all of the other 100 or so dealers who sell at GQAC.

Having more room has allowed us to get more stock in and we have a diverse range of car, bus, train, truck, plane, ship and horse related items at prices from around a fiver up to a few hundred quid. We try to top up stock every three weeks or so and are always on the lookout for new things. Pride of place this week goes to a standard lamp in the form of a Victorian street lamp complete with flickering gas light effect bulb.

It looks like a scorcher of a summer this year, but the docks and the river do bring a cool breeze and the antiques centre is air conditioned so come on out and spend the day in Gloucester docks and quays. loads to do and see, plenty of places to eat, lots of car parking and we are only about a ten to fifteen minute walk from the station.
