More news on the shop

The shop will be closing shortly whilst we are overseas, but things have gone well over the last month with a steady stream of sales. At the moment the sales are all running through the eBay version of the shop, but we are looking at an on-line store to provide an alternative sales channel for buyers and we have also started to compile lists of items so that we can add them as ‘pdf downloads from the current website.

We stock a range of items:

F1 Collectibles – we have a number of race programmes currently listed and recent sales include some GP armbands from the 1960s, paddock and grandstand passes from the 1950s and 60s, race programmes from the 50s through the 80s and some original sponsor badges and decals from the 70s and 80s. Items we have yet to list include more programmes, an autographed Keke Rosberg photo and a number of JPS Lotus decals from the 70s and 80s. In the current listings you will find one or two gems including one of Jack Brabham’s books autographed by the man himself back in 1960.

Car and Truck Manuals – we have sold a number of dealer and owner manuals for all sorts of vehicles from the 1930s to the 70s. There are a number still listed and we have a pile to add.

Car Magazines – we have a sold several issues of The Motor and The Autocar from the early 1950s, still have a few listed on eBay and have a pile still to add, all from the same era. The also have a large collection of Vintage & Veteran Magazine to list, plus many Jaguar and Bentley owners/enthusiasts magazines. There are also some 1960s/70s copies of Motor Sport waiting to list.

Automobilia – we have sold a number of Rolls Royce & Bentley related items. There are still a couple of things available and we are on the look out for more.

Aeronautica – We have sold some 1950s BOAC route maps and have a few more, plus some in-flight menus from the same era, that we will be listing after our trip. We have also sold some Business Class in flight amenity kits and have some more of those to list.

Books – we have a wide range of motor sport, car, bus and railway books in stock, many of which are listed on the eBay store. There are also a couple of boxes that we haven’t been able to list yet, so watch out.

We’ll keep you posted with new developments in the weeks to come, and watch out for a host of new listings in about four weeks time.
