I think that officially it will now be Gloucester Quays Antiques Centre and it will take a little while to get the social media and web side of things working again, but the centre is back in business as of yesterday.
It is also great news to find that we have pretty much all of the old team working for the new organisation. Along with many other dealers we were there on a miserable morning as far as weather was concerned to sign new contract forms with the landlord and were able afterwards to top up our stock and check what had sold between our last top up and the closure.
We are pleased to see the centre open again and are looking forward to helping make it a success. Gloucester Docks is such a great venue and visitor attraction that being a small part of it makes a lot of sense to us. Naturally we are disappointed to have missed potential sales over the Bank Holiday weekend, and for the two of us selling automobilia it was a shame to also have the centre closed for the recent classic car show right next door to the centre, but life is like that.
So we are back in business. The summer may be over, but there is much to do under cover an the docks and Quays, so do come along and have a day out. You can be sure of finding plenty to do and see.
