should the #BTCC adopt a “showdown” format?

Please don’t even consider this. It has made a nonsense of NASCAR and has not place in serious motor sport.

So what if Colin Turkington has clinched the title early, he deserves it because that is what racing is all about; you put a season together and win it or lose it on merit. In the same way that double points in the last round for F1 is stupid so is this idea. Drop it now!
