The F1 calendar is starting to just get ridiculous and rumours of a return to Las Vegas for another street race just adds to the stupidity. Why would we want this? Bernie can’t see past a big bag of cash of course, but what we are getting is quantity over quality.

In reality the news is almost certainly Bernie just blowing smoke to wind someone else up into forking over some cash; “If you don’t sign I’ve got Vegas as an option” type of manoeuvre, but if there is a market for F1 in Vegas it’s a shame that the old Stardust Raceway is no more; that might have been fun, but if the GP circus must go back there then let them run on the speedway. Let’s face it, an oval track might just spice things up a little.
